Hi friends! I hope everyone is enjoying what’s left of summer. We just got back from vacation and I’m faced with mountains of laundry and 2 weeks left to
entertain spend quality time with my kids 😉 In all honesty, I’m not ready for summer to end. Maybe it’s the fact that I have equal parts fear and dread for getting 4 little boys dressed and ready and out the door each morning when school begins? It’s possible. But I have truly been enjoying the lax vibe that summer brings. Today we drove home from the shore and I spent some time catching up on emails in the car. This one caught my eye – 40% off sale at Anthropologie (not the type of email I told my husband I was answering), but since I had time (traffic) I sifted through and put together three outfits that transition into fall. Many of these pieces you can wear all year! The 40% discount is applied automatically. No code needed!
This look is understated cool and perfect for any end of summer party. I have this sweater (it will sell out fast!) and it has become my favorite, effortless pullover. If it does sell out, try this one.
Other lightweight neutral tops for a similar look:
I never know what to wear to school functions and it seems like September is consumed with such events. I think this playful poncho is perfect to throw over any pair of jeans and gives off that conservative yet styled vibe.
As much as I look forward to football season (insert eye roll), I can only take so much. Here’s an easy outfit for a weeknight out with the girls. Sleeveless knits confuse me, no lie. They are too hot for summer yet too cold for winter. But fall? Sweater tanks can do fall. Throw a lightweight military jacket over top and these Mother jeans (people swear by them), take or leave the necklace (maybe some cool earrings) and tell the hubs you’ll be back in time for the post game show (or not).
And one more bonus. If you have a fall wedding – THIS!
Here are some of my other picks from the sale!
