Double Bump

January 24, 2013

It happens every pregnancy as I start the 3rd trimester. It’s that feeling that I have nothing to wear and even though I know there is an end in sight, I get that urge to buy a little something to stretch my wardrobe to the end. Today that urge struck so I decided to check out the maternity section at H&M. As I browsed through the racks, nothing struck me as a must-have and if it did, it wasn’t worth the money with such little time left (11 weeks to be exact). I decided that my daily uniform of black Lululemon yoga pants was just going to have to be good enough. As I was leaving (ok so I did get a pair of cotton leggings to add into the mix – didn’t want to make the trip to the mall a total waste) one of the items in the “crap bins” near the register caught my eye. It was a spongy looking donut that looked like it would be the perfect distraction for my 1.5 year old to play with as I completed the transaction. I took a closer look and realized it was a hair accessory that claimed to make the perfect bun. Ok so if I can’t find anything to wear on my bump, maybe I should just make one on the top of my head to balance things out. These were honestly the thoughts in my head, and at $3.95 I figured it was worth a try. So check it out – my other “bump”! I’m kind of liking this look and the fact that it fits into my 5 minute getting-ready timeframe in the morning.

I am so glad this works, I saw this and really wanted to try it out!!!! A friend of mine does hers with a sock, but I am not that talented! Also, H&M maternity and Plymouth Meeting mall is the way to go! When I was preggo I bought all my clothes either there or the sweaters just bigger in the regular section and sported them with leggings, like every day!

Yes! I love it! It does not come with directions, but pretty easy to figure out once you play around with it. And, yes, if I’m not in yoga pants then I am in leggings and I consider that to be dressed up!

don’t miss a post
