We have all been under the weather in my household these past few days. My boys are coughing and sneezing and snotting all over the place and I have a sore throat that I just can’t kick (or medicate other than Tylenol). Sleep deprived and feeling blah, I decided that thinking happy thoughts might help us turn a corner. Here are a few things that made me happy today:
1. My Nespresso machine (more on this favorite find later).
2. This sweatshirt from Target.
It’s not such a fun day when your 21 month old notices that your under belly is sticking out from your hoodie. I guess at 2.5 feet he has a good view, but still, not so fun! Yesterday my sister told me that long sweatshirts (aka “boyfriend sweatshirts”) are “in” right now. She works in the fashion industry so her words were like gold to a very pregnant mother of 2 like myself. I found this extra long tunic sweatshirt at Target today and am loving the bump and booty coverage… plus it will be great with leggings for the post-baby body. It’s a happy day when you can find non-maternity clothing that actually fits and can be worn again later!
3. Free Prenatal Yoga On-Demand – how did I just discover this now? And I am proud to say that I did “Pigeon” pose with a baby in my belly and another baby (with surprisingly good balance) standing on my back.
4. My mom arrived with dinner just as I was sitting down to plan what to make tonight… and it was delicious. Thanks, mom!
