Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Babies, Kids, and parents too!

Hand selected with LOVE, here are my candy-free picks for a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Valentine's Day Gift Guide

For Baby:

I couldn’t pick just one. Lovely little tees and onsies for our littlest lovelies by Peace Love World.

Love to snuggle up with your littlest ones? These sweet love stories have built in kisses and tickles to boot…. as if you needed another excuse.

Ok, I’ll admit that my 10 month old’s favorite toy is my iPhone, and other random scraps he finds on the floor, but coming in a close third place is this Elephant. I like to think of this as Sophie the Giraffe’s long lost cousin… who happens to be just as cute, but costs less… and don’t worry, being BPA free runs in the family.

Ok so this is a two-bird-one-stone kinda gift. Mom gets to wear it and baby gets to chew on it. Cute mom, happy baby. Win-Win. Sharing the love!

For Kids:

Simple. Adorable. Love it… Peace Love World

We all know conversation hearts are unavoidable on Valentine’s Day. I’ve found that tooth brushing is less avoidable with electric ones…. kid tested (by my own) these make tooth brushing kinda sorta fun!

I don’t think you can ever have too many books. Yes, we typically read the same ones every night, but these sweet stories about love have a chance at making their way into the rotation.

Show your kids you really “dig” them with these fun utensils. Miiiight make those peas disappear a little faster. Worth a shot?

Love to spark the inner artist in your child? Me too… and I also love getting dinner made interrupted. We need new art supplies in a bad way so I am loving this idea for Valentine’s Day!

For Her:

Haven’t convinced your spouse to let you display your family on the back of the mom-mobile, but sorta feel left out? Me too. Loving this set of family glassware…. because plastic is so OUT!

This is one of my favorite “splurge” bottles of wine. Priced well for special occasions, especially Valentine’s Day, so add in some chocolate and flowers and you are golden.

This is the ultimate screw-you-polar-vortex Valentine’s day gift. My mother in-law bought me a faux fur throw similar to this one for Christmas and I have never felt so luxurious watching tv in my entire life. This one is on sale at West Elm… click the image and search “Faux Fur Throw – Striped”….. and then cozy up with that bottle of wine. V-day accomplished.

Do you know Bobbi as in Bobbi Brown? Well, me neither, but I do know that we wear the same lip color. It’s called Bobbi. She named it after herself because it’s the shade she wears. You know, just me and Bobbi rocking the same lipstick….no big deal. Impress your lady with this knowledge and the fact that this shade is sheer, neutral and great for a variety of different skin tones. Pair this with a sitter and a date night. Done.

For Him:

Love an animal lover? Gotta love this animal-friendly cardboard taxidermy. It adds an ounce of masculinity to any man cave or office…..without the cringe-factor (I know I’m not the only one, right?).

Nothing says love like an ice cold beer.  This is for all the women who are tired of having beers explode in the freezer…. get your guy a Chilsner! Looking for a good beer to buy to go with? My husband recommends Zonker Stout by Snake River Brewery…. an award winning beer that’s great in the winter.

Do you love a traveller? Love to travel? I LOVE this gift idea – a scratch map. Yep. That’s right. Hang it on the wall. Scratch off where you’ve been…..or where you dream to go….

When it comes to candles this scent is man-approved. Almost as dreamy as a fire in a log cabin with no kids….yeah, keep dreaming.

There you have it…. a few candy-free ways to show the love! Oh, and here is a fun way to start the day on Valentine’s Day… check out my Bucket of Love post from last year!
