Sleep, and lack thereof.

sleep deprivation

Exhausted. Pooped. Spent. Beat….. Whatever you wanna call it, this girl is freakin’ tired. I can’t remember the last time I slept through the night. When one door closes (my baby finally decides to sleep through the night), another door opens (my 2 year old stops sleeping through the night and visits me at 2am.every.night). And on the rare occasion that everyone is sleeping, I wake up and wait for someone to wake up……..Tick. Tock……. Any minute now someone will be up……annnnny minute I’ll hear those footsteps. Nothing. Oh Crap! Something must be wrong. Why isn’t anyone up? Now I need to go check on everyone. Hmmm, that’s weird. Everyone is sleeping. Annnnnd, I’m wide awake. So tired, but so awake. My sleep cycle is official fried. Someone PLEASE invent a sleep training course for moms – I need to be FERBER-IZED for crying out loud (no pun intended). Okay. End of crazy tired person rant. Despite the lack of sleep in motherhood, we push through and make it work. Head on over to EatSleepBe.com and check out my 5 Healthy Habits for Sleep Deprived People.

I would love a full night of sleep. Some nights I’m so tired, my husband hear’s my kids before I do. I’m either drifting off to sleep or in a deep sleep.

don’t miss a post
