Stitch Fix Summer Fun

June 2, 2014

Today was my first day home with all three kids thanks to those two little words that used to give us butterflies in our stomach: SUMMER BREAK. These days the butterflies are still there…oh yes.  But these suckers are anxious, nervous twitchy ones. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my kids, but 3 kids under 5 all day long, all day strong is quite the undertaking. I just sat down for the first time today. My body is tingling as if I just went for a long run. I did no running today, chasing maybe, but no running. Anyway. What is the point of all this? The point is that for the next 83 days (rough estimate) I will be trying to minimize any sort of outing that will set my kids off. Like the grocery store (got Fresh Direct delivered this morning), like Home Goods, and like the mall. Delivery service is my savior. And clothes being delivered? Seriously genius. Check out my 2nd Stitch Fix.

Quick review for those new to Stitch Fix:

What? A box of clothing/accessories delivered to your door based on your personal style. There is a $20 styling fee, but it is waived if you purchase any item delivered. If you purchase all items, you get 25% off.

How? Fill out a detailed style profile, set your price point, and your Stitch Fix is mailed directly to your home. Keep what you want, send back what you don’t want in a pre-paid envelope.

Any Questions? Leave a comment below!

For this “Fix” I asked my stylist, Margaret, to include some fun date night pieces, and also something more casual for a SAHM.

So what stays and what goes? I think you can tell how the last shirt made me feel… going back in the envelope for now unless you convince me otherwise.

If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix I highly recommend it! Essentially risk-free… if you hate everything, then you are out $20. Worth the headache of dragging three kids to the mall

Hi Lindsey all these outfits look great on you. My favorite was outfit #1. I like the look of the front-twisted sleeveless blouse. It’s a great color for summer. I have been seeing Stitch Fix around lately. They seem to have great stuff. I am visiting from SITSSharefest. I would love to invite you to the #WhatWivesWearLinkUp. If you are interested in joining we link up every Thursday at I would love to see you there. Have a great weekend! ~Sherri
