I’m starting this year out with a plan…. a dinner plan. I’m all about making things EASY and making things that I can guarantee my kids will actually eat…. because by 5:30, I’m just not up for another battle. Who’s with me? Any who… as I was making my list, I figured I would put it out there in case anyone else needed some ideas. All of these recipes are pretty easy and all things that my kids will eat. The “Tuedsay” recipe is one I have never tried, but my sister, who has 4 kids, tried it last week and said that everyone loved it. I’m taking her word for it. Oh, and it involves a slow cooker so I am sold.
Here are 5 easy kid approved dinners!
Tuesday – Taco Chicken Bowls
Wednesday – Pasta with Sausage and Broccoli
Thursday – Chicken, Kale, White Bean Soup
Friday – I don’t cook on Fridays.
Saturday -………. or Saturdays for that matter.
Sunday – Sometimes I cook on sundays, but typically a lovely family member will invite us over for dinner. (And it’s a double bonus when they send us home with leftovers for Monday.)…. If this is not the case, I’ll probably make this (Ina’s Weeknight Bolognese)…. it requires a bit of wine….. as if we needed an excuse to have a bottle handy. Just FYI. This recipe is always a winner around here.
