I’m not sure about you, but I believe 100% in “flower therapy”. I survive the end of winter by buying myself flowers pretty much……..weekly. I put them right in the center of my countertop for all to see and admire. And when you walk downstairs in the morning…. ahhh, it’s like springtime in your kitchen.
Flower therapy.
Write it down.
It’s a thing.
And the fact that I’m loving all of the floral-ness in fashion right now (well documented in this insta) shouldn’t come as a surprise. Flowery dresses galore. Yes, flowers on dresses also counts as flower therapy (and you can tell your husband I said so). Except dresses, unlike flowers, well…. they don’t die. Nope. You can wear ’em now and wear ’em later. There is something sweet about a flowery dress hidden under a big cable knit cardigan and high boots. And then a few months later, lose the cardi, add a pair of gladiators or espadrilles and it’s a piece you can wear all year. Here’s a floral dress I bought last summer, but dressed it for colder weather with high boots.
Wearing:
Dress (old, but newer similar version here) // Boots (c/o my sister and on super sale now) // Bag (old HOBO c/o my grandmother)
And on my sidekick:
Shirt // Jeans // Hat // Shoes

And you’ll need these to go with:
Flower Therapy.
Did you write it down yet?
Happy taste of spring!
