Ok, you still with me? Great, because there’s more goodness at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Note: If you missed Part 1 of this post you can start here.
Ok, TOPS. More tops that do double duty function. Dress them down with jeans or dress them up for work. Or a night out? Add in darker wash jeans and heels. These tops can go to all of these places with you….
First up is this classic tunic. It is softer than it appears online and comes in a bunch of colors. I’d add a long, gold chain and wear it alone or as a layering piece under a long vest. But first lets talk about these Hudson Jeans. If your jeans are all BLUE and you’re seeking some variety without taking too much of a risk, meet this wash. I’m obsessed.
And this top. How gorgeous?
And this one? Seriously crushing…pricey, but wow.
And here’s a little tidbit, if our last baby was a girl, one of the names we loved was Camille, and we would call her “Milly”. And so, of course, I had to try on this Milly dress. We added a long sleeve top underneath for an on trend look, but it is beautiful alone. I’d wear this to work or even to a casual wedding!
Oh, and this watch didn’t hurt either…
Cozy sweaters anyone? Cashmere is big at the sale this year. The two on the left are both cashmere. The sweater on the right is a great layering piece for fall. You can style the neckline a few different ways. I kept calling it a house coat, but that’s only because I have this thing about not being able to take off my jacket in the winter. I need house coats in my life. Oh, and the boots. V nice…
Left | Middle | Right | Over the knee boots
And everyone needs a long sleeved shift in their life. I was drawn to the dainty little bows on the sleeves. This dress is gorgeous alone (I’d add a necklace)…..
…..or as a blank canvas for layering as seen in this next shot.
Dress | OTK Boots | Waterfall Military Jacket | Booties
And speaking of great dresses to layer. Meet this Leith body con type dress. The price is right and while it can be worn alone (with a lot of confidence!) I like it as a base to add on all the layers.
Dress | Booties | Jacket | Necklace | Bag
The skirt that will never go out of style? The denim midi. And I really want to like the cold shoulder top on the left. Thoughts? This is a trendier look on the left, and a more chic/style/I am nailing this PTO meeting look on the right. Sorry. I’m getting a little loopy….
Cold Shoulder Top | Gray tee | Skirt | Blazer | Booties
And last but not least (for this post!)… as we were walking out I came across this:
Vest
And if you like that style, there is also this one. I bought a similar one at Anthro last year that kept selling out.
OK that’s dressing room party round 1. More to come on Kids and Home!
If you missed the first part of this post you can check that out here. Let me know if you have questions on size/fit/comfort etc….
