For me my closet can at times be a sign of my emotional state, lol! I know that may sound so silly! I swear I’m a totally ordinary, normal gal. But having a thoughtful, limited, versatile wardrobe really works for me. I’m not always good at it, but I try. Too much clutter in my closet at any given time usually means I’m super stressed and have too much clutter on the brain;). I’ve found over the years the more I have in my closet the more I feel like I have nothing to wear! I’ve not mastered the less is more idea but I’m trying hard.”

How would you describe your style in 2 words? Classic modern
What song best describes you? Oh this question is so fun! I’m a huge music lover so many songs come to mind! Two songs I really resonate with are Gypsy (Fleetwood Mac) & Going to California (Led Zeppelin).
What song best describes the dinner scene at your house on a daily basis? It’s sitting, waiting, wishing – you get the idea;)
What’s your favorite brand of jeans? Frame Denim. I’m denim obsessed. These jeans last forever and fit like perfection. Plus Frame is always one of the first to use interesting and modern details on classic styles (in step crop or released hem anyone!?)
What do you love best about being a mom of twins? The hardest? I love everything about having twins! The unique, natural bond is amazing to watch and be a part of. The challenge is to be mindful of them as their own person while still embracing their togetherness.
Would you rather….. put the kids to bed or do the dishes? Put the kids to bed! Now that they are older this time is actually peaceful (aghast!). And before long the “tuck-ins” will be no more. This is really the only time of day I have one-one with them and love to get their day’s highlights (and sometimes lowlights). They are still my little babies at night – although not for much longer I know.
What are your vices? I have many. My FAVORITE vice is Skirt Boutique, especially their Bryn Mawr Location and their Skirt Box service (shop skirt.com). Once a year, I treat myself to a Skirt Box. Skirt stylists have this magic power to bring the style in my head to life! And their sales are insane! Intense workouts and wine are close runner ups though too!
Go to week night dinner that everyone loves? A fridge fajita a la cart feast! I make fajitas once a week based on what we have on hand – shrimp or steak, soft or hard shells…you get the idea! Everyone can find something among the veggies, rice, meats, cheese and tortillas! And the kids love the make your own vibe!
What’s the best piece of parenting advice you’ve received? Or give us some! Love without conditions and expect the same in return.
What is the last book you read? Literally just finished Loving Frank, by Nancy Horan. I love books. And I love reading. But I am about 8 years behind the current must reads! Historical fiction, such as this one, is my fav.
And now for the closet envy portion of this post. Jen is doing fall fashion like fall fashion needs to be done. A beautiful silk top, a textured jacket to-die-for, Frame Denim, and a great pair of booties. All classic, timeless pieces.

Jen, it was a pleasure meeting you and your “wardrobe mantra” is now the voice in my head! This post was the perfect seque into fall fashion – may all of our future purchases be intentional, versatile, and timeless. Aaaannnnd, when can we go shopping together?
