What’s the best part about being pregnant during the holiday season? Watching everyone else drink the eggnog? The assumed role of designated driver? Ok, so there are some “sacrifices”, but while we are busy growing the greatest gift of all, we CAN have fun dressing the bump! Based on some inspiration I found around the web, I’ve created three mood boards with some holiday outfit ideas for pregnant moms-to-be. Repeat after me: I will go to the parties. I will pretend I am having fun. I will rock the bump. And I will eat all of the cookies. See? There are some perks to being pregnant this time of year 😉
For this look, I chose some feminine plaid options, all of which can be worn post pregnancy. Plaid is a classic pattern that will add visual interest to your outfit without being overwhelming. You can create more of a statement by adding some fun bauble earrings or necklace. This will help to make the look feel more put together and less casual.

This look is really all about the shoe. The dress is a classic shape that will always look effortless. The options I chose are soft and will not “show off” your growing belly, but subtly highlight. A statement necklace or shoe will definitely complete the look.
There is something about a black and white that is so chic. The options I chose have subtle, classic patterns. Color-blocking a black top with white pants (or visa versa) will also work here. To create a more casual look, top on a jean jacket.
