I have had so much fun over the past 2 weeks giving away a few of my favorite things. This blog has become more than I ever dreamed and I am so grateful for all of the people that actually read it. These giveaways are a small way to thank you for following along. I wish I had more gifts to give (sorry, I’m not Oprah), but I hope I am giving you all a fun, lighthearted place to escape for a few minutes in your day when you come to read my posts. That is really the purpose of this blog. And hey, if I happen to be wearing a sweater you love or a shoe you have to have, then all the better. You probably deserve it!
I wanted to take a quick moment, to recap all of my favorites in case you are looking for a last minute gift idea. These are all “motherchic approved” which means absolutely nothing, but you can know that there is some chick out there who is a busy mom of 4 kids, and that all of these things either brighten her day or make her life a little bit easier when she needs that pick-me-up the most. Oh, and of course I have ONE last surprise. Make sure you read all the way to the end for the GRAND FINALE giveaway!
My Favorite Things
Kendra Scott Jewelry // I LOVVVVE everything Kendra Scott. Not only is it a beautiful line with something for everyone (did you know you can customize your jewels too), but the price point is great and the quality is amazing. These Bexley earrings are timeless stunners. Huge thanks to Kendra Scott Ardmore for partnering on this giveaway!
Madalynne Intimates // I believe every girl should have at least one set of pretty underwear. Even when you are having the toughest day and feel like you are just trying to keep your head above water (this is mom-speak for “in the trenches”) you can still think to yourself, “Well, at least my bra is pretty.” It’s the little things, right? The Madalynne “Nina bralette” is one of those pieces that you can throw on under a wide neck sweater to let it peek through a bit, you can wear it to yoga, you can wear it as a top under a jacket.
The Perfect Tee // I’ve worn a LOT of white tees in my day, but this one designed by my friend Carly at ThirtySomethingTees is…. well, it’s perfect. It has just the right amount of stretch and feathering, and it is polished enough to go from day to night. The designer describes it as “uncomplicated and a little bit sexy”…. so there’s that. A portion of the proceeds from these tees give back to a local NJ Children’s hospital. These tees also come in black and gray and there is word that she might be making a slouchier version. Can. Not. Wait.
Tate’s Cookies // I can’t bake, but Tate’s Bake Shop tastes the most homemade to me. There cookies are crisp and buttery and the only cookie in my house that I *attempt* to hide from my kids. Small thrills!
O-Venture Key Ring // This is one of those inventions that makes your life so much easier. Whenever I am running errands, I slip the O-ring onto my arm so I don’t have to go searching for my keys in my bag (I have the “quick silver croc”). Plus, it’s pretty and makes finding your keys a million times easier. Oh, and it’s one of Oprah’s favorite things too…
Ban.do Planner // I am always late, always forgetting things, and aways a little slightly disorganized. Truth be told, I need a secretary. My Ban.do planner is the next best thing. It is fun and it’s cute and it makes me laugh. Oh, and it sort of keeps me in check because if I actually write something down, there is a lesser chance that I will forget it.
Concihairge // It’s no secret that I am obsessed with the fact that my hairdresser actually comes to my house. With a new baby and nursing and just never knowing my schedule and booking a sitter etc… it is so nice knowing that I can just have my hair done in the comfort of my own home. Concihairge, your concept is genius. And your ability to make my hair rose gold (Monica Bada!!).
Monrow Mama // Dressing the bump is never easy. Cute and comfortable are my two prerequisites for any maternity clothing. Monrow Mama is super soft and these dresses are a great base for layering (comes in non-maternity too).
Barre3 and Coffee // This duo is my not-so-secret secret for staying sane. I love Barre3 because it is the perfect combination of cardio and toning and I always leave class feeling like I did something good for myself. And also, I sleep very little – not something I am proud of, but coffee helps and it better be the best – La Colombe is my bean of choice and the Draft Lattes are….wow. Thank you to my favorite studio – Barre3 Rosemont for partnering on this giveaway!
Lily Jade Bags // Chic and diaper bag are rarely used in the same sentence until you’ve seen a Lily Jade bag. Even when you are past the diaper stage, you’re probably still going to to want to carry one of their bags! You can read our full posts here and here.
And last, but not least, I have one more gift. This is not sponsored by anyone – just something from me to you to show my appreciation. I am giving a $200 gift card to Nordstrom, one of my favorite stores, to one lucky reader You can enter in the form below. Happy holidays to all and thank you all from the very bottom of my heart.
