Reader Style Crush: Meet Kirsten

April 3, 2017

I can’t believe I am going to admit this, but I used to babysit for our next reader style crushee! Kirsten is one of Abby’s best friends (ok so she is only 4ish years younger than me), but I thought it would be fun to show everyone what the young professionals are wearing these days. And, yes, you can bet it’s a breath of fresh air! Kirsten works as an accountant in downtown Philly and has nailed the business casual vibe that many companies are adopting. Being able to walk to and from work paired with her company dress code policy of “Dress your Day,” Kirsten is generally able to wear casual and comfortable attire to work on a daily basis. That’s code for also being able to wear it on the weekend.

Kirsten’s monochromatic look paired with fun, statement zebra flats is a perfectly polished (and comfortable) look. She is wearing a Club Monaco bow sleeve top which can easily be dressed up or down. For a day in the office, Kirsten pairs it with a dark wash, raw hem jean. If meeting with clients or traveling, Kirsten opts for the standard, blouse/blazer combo with a dressier pant. But let’s not mistake that for boring. This amazing pair is her pick for spring.

Some of Kirsten’s Favorite Things:

Kirsten, thank you for shedding some light on the fact that pant suits and pantyhose are a thing of the past (well, at least the latter). I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’m pretty sure I would be more productive in clothes that look and feel good. And, of course, that work for happy hour too.
