Loft makes getting dressed sort of ridiculously easy. They have so many pieces in their spring collection that you can just throw on to look effortlessly styled. If your life is anything like mine and you’ve been pressed with the task of getting ready to go somewhere in life in the presence of your children, you get why this is so huge. Getting ready with what seems like 87 kids running wild throughout my bed room – there is little time to create a vision about what to wear.
Loft has tons of stand alone pieces that you can pair with basics you already have (jeans, white pants, shorts) and be done and walk out the door. They have been having some amazing sales recently (today is 40% off everything) so I thought I would showcase a few of my favorites. But first I must apologize – not one, but TWO of the tops I am featuring below just sold out. I linked to similar and will tell you as soon as they are restocked.
Embroidered Top + Cutoff Shorts
Embroidered Top (sold out, similar here and here) | Denim Shorts (both true to size)
I love dressing denim shorts up a bit with a more polished top. Loft has tons of embroidered tops that would complete the look above. For a super chic look, pair this top with white jeans for a white on white look. Just don’t bring your kids. I also love this top with a cropped dark wash denim and wedges.
One Skirt Two Ways
One Shoulder Top (just sold out, but this and this are similar) | Raw Hem Skirt
Truth be told I don’t love shorts. A denim skirt is the perfect alternative and SO comfortable. I was drawn to this skirt because of the perfect length (not too long, not too short) and the released hem detail. To dress it up, I paired it with this adorable one shoulder top. Because of where the top hit the skirt untucked, I did a full tuck to create more of a waist line. If I were wearing this top with jeans, I would untuck or half tuck. Sometimes it’s really all about the tuck 😉
You can dress this skirt down for an easy everyday outfit by pairing it with a casual tee. Stripes are great, graphics might be even better.
