Our Favorite Midi Dresses for Wedding Guests

May 9, 2017

It is officially wedding season! I’m not sure if it’s the excuse to wear a pretty dress or the excuse to get a sitter for the night, but either way, a night out, celebrating love with an open bar, a little Earth Wind and Fire, sign me up. We’ve rounded up our favorite midi dresses for wedding guests. Why a midi? Because minis and maxi’s get all of the attention and we think a midi is worth a second look. The cutout midi dress I am featuring, I wore to a black tie event when I was in Dallas, but kept thinking that it would be perfect for this post. This dress is not black tie, per se, but anything goes these days, right? I glammed it up a bit with a bold necklace, strappy sandals and a chic clutch, but you could also wear it casual/daytime with flats and a raffia bag. This dress is perfect for a beach or destination wedding and easily be dressed up or down with different shoes and accessories. Oh, and it has pockets so there’s that. The Motherchic wearing striped cutout midi dress by mara hoffman

And one last thing, when asked if you want to dance, the answer is always YES. There isn’t a twirl in the world that a midi doesn’t love.
