We are heading back down to the sunshine state for our next reader style crush! I am honored to introduce you to Krista who admittedly lives in workout clothes, but loves an excuse to go all out with a flirty/feminine knockout dress on the weekends. And yes, she rocks it. The swoon worthy arms help…
Krista Taube, a former assistant pastry chef, decided to put her career on the back burner (no pun intended) to stay at home and care for her three girls ages 10, 5 & 1. When she is not micromanaging her household, Krista can be found working up a sweat with her trainer at the gym.
Tell us about the look you are wearing: I specifically purchased this dress for my wedding anniversary, however, it is reflective of the style I gravitate towards for date night with my husband. Most of my days are spent in either workout clothes or shorts and t-shirts so when date night rolls around I like to get a little girlie. Also, with the temperatures hitting 90 half the year this dress is easy, breezy and I love the bright colors too.
How would you describe your style in a few words? Day: uncomplicated, laid back, comfort
Favorite pair of jeans? I honestly have never been a big fan of jeans but recently loving my blank denim (thanks motherchic!)
Most worn item in your closet? My most worn item(s) are anything lululemon. My day always starts with a run or the gym and it’s my go to brand. This is my all time favorite top (now on sale for $29! More sizes here). And these are my favorite pants.
Drink of Choice? Rosè all day. Perfect for hot FL days.
What is the first thing you do in the morning? I drink 8 ounces of water, like before my eyes are even open. Hydration is so important. I have a pretty low maintenance beauty regimen and drinking tons of water is a key part.
Go to weeknight dinner that everyone loves? Turkey meatloaf. All my kids love it and it’s super healthy too.
Last book you read? Fates and Furies by Lauren Groff. A little dark but so good.
