Happy Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access day! The floodgates are officially opened. I couldn’t decide what type of post would be most beneficial in terms of helping you shop. Sharing what I bought? Favorites from each category? An outfit post?…. So yeah. I did all three in one. I’m going to keep this intro short because, well, things are going fast…..
Ten Things I Bought and LOVE….
These booties are life changing.
Quite possibly my favorite classic pair of jeans ever (worth the back order wait).
One for me, one for you (the ultimate holiday gift)
An everyday tote (tip: find a local monogrammed to emboss your initials!)
No brainer tee (wash, and air dry)
Effortless top (wear now and later – size down)
Yep. Pretty obessed with these pumps.
And a few things currently in my cart….
And because the sale is so massive, I went ahead and narrowed down the top selling categories…
Favorites by Category….

A Complete Outfit….
When the coveted Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog arrived at my house at the end of June, I must admit, I was not super impressed by the selection. As usual, the sale has proved me wrong and I purchase way too many things I never knew I would need for fall (mid-July) until now. The one thing that did catch my eye in the catalog was these Frame split hem jeans. Did I love them? Did I hate them? Could I cheat on my beloved skinny jeans for a straight-legged option? The day before the sale went live, Abby and I got a sneak peek at our local Nordstrom. I pulled them on, checked all of the angles in the mirror and asked Abby, “Ok so do we love them or do we hate them?”. We looked at each other, smiled, and almost in unison we said, “We love them!!!” They are a little different, yes, but that just makes styling all that easier. Just add a simple sweater or top and let the denim do the talking.
A note about fit and styling: I sized down in these jeans for a slimmer fit. I think they look best with a bootie or heel that has a bit of a lift, but a flat sandal for warmer temps also looks great! The sweater runs TTS and, yes, you can wear a regular bra!
