This fall I’ve been wearing these pieces on repeat…..but for me repetition = versatility. And versatility is what makes a piece capsule worthy. Of course I had to add in a few trend items to keep my closet current, but most of these items I’ve had in my closet for years! The only thing missing here is a winter jacket, but don’t worry that post is coming next week 🙂 Here is my version of a simple fall capsule wardrobe a.k.a. the clothes in my closet that get the most wear!
Sweater: My current crush that has been keeping me warm during these transitional temperatures.
Turtleneck: The perfect layer (or not to layer) to add a touch of preppy to any outfit.
Blouse: This blouse is #goals.. equal parts elegant and casual. Dress up with heels or dress down with ripped skinnies.
Off Shoulder Sweater: Cozy enough for everyday wear, but cool enough to take on the town. This sweater can also be worn on the shoulder. See photos below!V-neck tee: Let’s be honest.. I would wear this everyday, BUT fashion is too much fun!
Tote: This carryall has kept up with diaper changes, soccer games, snack emergencies and hasn’t missed a beat!
Bootie: I can be a bit of a bootie junkie, but this pair takes the cake.
Necklace: To add a bit of “pulled togetherness” a pendant necklace does the trick for me.
Ripped Skinnies: These are definitely my most worn jeans in my closet.. and the price really can’t be beat!
Classic Skinnies: For those days when rips just won’t do.. these high rise skinnies are a closet staple.
Leather Leggings: Vegan to be exact. Super comfortable and make me feel like Super Woman (Mom!
Velvet Bag: This splurge worthy bag will take an outfit up a notch.
Leopard Bootie: A statement making boot to dress up that tee or cable knit sweater
Earrings: Simple, but not boring.
Here are a few ways I’ve styled these pieces lately…
