We think getting dressed for work should be just as fun as getting dressed for the weekend. We also don’t think your “work wardrobe” and your “weekend wardrobe” should be mutually exclusive. While I don’t have to get dressed for work (um, currently wearing ripped jeans….shocker) I have fun answering some of your questions about what I would wear if I did! There are tons of work to weekend tops that can be styled differently for a completely different look. I’ve put together two outfits from Macy’s featuring the prettiest ruffled white blouse styled for any day of the week.
Look One: Work Savvy
I think if I had to run around an office all day and/or sit behind a desk, I would want to be as comfortable as possible. Track pants for work? Yes please! This jogger style pant basically feels like pajamas. And although in photographs they look like wool, they are actually a black and white printed pant (flowy and comfy!). I paired them with what might be the most walkable heels of all time, and added a pop of color in my accessory. Who knew laptop covers could be so cute?

Look 2: Weekend Chic
Sticking with the black and white theme, I swapped out the joggers for faux leather leggings for a completely different “date night ready” look. These leggings have the fit of a skinny jean (versus a legging) and feel like butter. No really, almost as comfortable as wearing the jog. I traded in my laptop for my other favorite red 😉
