Happy New Year, Friends! Ahh, sort of feels amazing to be back into a routine. Oh wait. I wrote that line 4 days ago and not one but TWO snow days later, here we are. House still destroyed. CHECK! Behind on everything. CHECK! One reader commented on a recent Facebook post, “I feel like my kids have been home for like 900 days!!!”…..umm, yes! Although I must say, my husband and I both agreed that my boys were pretty good over this break. We are getting to that point where amidst the chaos that you can only imagine exists living in a house with 4 boys under age 8, they are super fun to be around. And oh the ways the make us laugh. 2018 goals? Going out to dinner without completely pitying the waitress and apologizing to the tables next to us, but I digress….
I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback about what you all want to see more of in Motherchic land in the coming year. One idea that keeps popping up is the idea of a capsule wardrobe, i.e. having a highly curated closet where pieces can be mixed and matched to create different looks. Basically, less is more. I love this concept and while we work on a more in depth post, I thought I would share the pieces that I wear in constant rotation these days…..Make sure to follow on Instagram to see these looks first!
