My job does not require your typical workwear attire. And the last time I had a meeting in an actual office I was wearing ripped jeans (insert big eye emoji with flushed cheeks). But nonetheless I really wanted to include a more professional outfit into our dress themed week. I was really inspired by some readers who messaged me about standing out in a sea full of suits. I rounded up a bunch of workwear dresses that have a personality pop and are actually fun to wear. Instead of choosing a simple black sheath I styled an effortless tie neck shirt dress in vertical stripes. A classic shape that can transition from season to season with a simple shoe swap.

The fabric of this workwear dress is a substantial jersey material that has some stretch and drape. I love how this dress can easily transition from winter with black tights, boots and a jacket to spring with an easy pump. P.S. These heels are comfortable and a reader favorite! I added a belt to give a bit more waist emphasis, however the waist is elasticated. The bag is definitely big enough to hold a laptop, but other reader favorites include this one and this one!
