There’s no such thing as too many ruffles or too many pastels, right? Well for me there is never enough. Especially because my boys think there are never enough landmines (meaning lego parts) on the floor, snacks in the pantry, pee on the seat (I mean can you try to aim or put the seat up at least??)…..or time in the day to shoot one more hoop before bed. Three of my four boys have April birthdays which means this month has been nothing short of a boy crazy whirlwind. So this outfit is all for me. Ruffle sleeves, ruffle details, pastel pinks, pastel blue seersucker shorts and prettiest staircase you ever did see.
But tucking those little boys into bed every night and singing you are my sunshine for the umpteenth time……well there is never enough of those moments where I don’t feel like the luckiest mom in the world. And in the name of balance (meaning you can chase your kids around, but at the same time hope they don’t touch you with chocolate fingers) enter the feminine, but super versatile summer short. The ruffle details shows off my girly side, while the high rise and perfect length allows me to bend over totally care-free.
