Seriously, put down the store bought container of ranch your mind is about to be blown. This recipe is THE BEST HOMEMADE RANCH RECIPE EVER. Also, there is yogurt in it… so it is kind of healthy, right? Get ready to “wow” your guests with this seriously addicting dressing.
3 scallions chopped
1/2 cup fresh basil
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp olive oil
2 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup 2% greek yogurt
1/2 cup buttermilk
Add scallions, basil, lemon juice, mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper in a food processor and puree for 20 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Place the dressing in a bowl and refrigerate for about 1 hour to blend the flavors. Serve over lettuce or use as a dip for veggies!
Have leftover ingredients? Save the buttermilk for pancakes, use extra basil for a caprese salad, and add scallions to spice up your morning omelet!
