A little fun fact about my team I learned this morning… we are all strongly opposed to anything pumpkin spiced. Is it just us or are people just over it? Another thing that I find most of my readers are strongly opposed to are belts. Let me re-word that. I think really they just aren’t quite sure how to wear them. I get that it seems like another accessory to have to think about, but if you are going for that ” I want to look put together, even though I am a hot mess” look, then a belt may be your answer. Sometimes a belt is the glue to hold an outfit together, which I needed this morning when I waved goodbye to my 3rd son who is off to Kindergarten. Just had to get that off my chest. But from one mom to another or one working girl to another or one woman to another if you are looking to take your outfit up a notch (pun intended)… just belt it.

The white shirt and jeans look is all of a sudden ready for pre-school orientation with the addition of a skinny leopard belt. Currently Trending if I might add. The subtle pattern gives this outfit the pop it needs.

The always tricky oversized poncho while gorgeous flowing in the wind sometimes needs some taming. Allow your hands to be free with the addition of a skinny tab belt. Or add some shape with a waist cinching wider belt. Either way the belt may be your ponchos new best friend.
