Navigating through an airport terminal is considered traveling in my book (I don’t understand how some people are able to do this in heels), so for me it is all about comfort and convenience. Easy layers for the frigid airplane air, comfy leggings or joggers, and sneakers that aren’t a hassle at security are all key in my book.
In addition to feeling comfortable, I always make sure I have these essential travel items packed in my carry-on:
1 // Hand wipes/Wet Ones – Did I ever mention I have 4 boys?
2 // Facial Spray – To mist on & freshen up post-flight. I feel refreshed, awake, and ready for vacation!
3 // A Book – For, you know, when I’m able to read.
4 // Eye Mask – See above, and also apply to sleep.
5 // Lip Balm – Cabin air always feels very dry, so having my favorite lip balm on hand is a must for me.
6 // Water bottle – Grab your water post-security to have cold, refreshing water on your flight.
7 // Headphones – Sometimes mama needs some soothing music (or at least pretend there’s music).
8 // Portable Charger – Because you’ll still need to use your phone after your kids have used it for every game & YouTube video imaginable.
9 // Extra Wrap – Keep yourself extra cozy & comfy with an extra wrap (or scarf) on-hand.
What’s in your bag??
