On the east coast we cannot wait for spring… especially with the inches of heavy snow we got last night resulting in a two hour delay this morning. These transitional times of year can also cause some major delay in getting dressed in the morning. And while we aren’t quite ready to break out the bikinis (insert mental note to get spray tan immediately) I am ready to swap out my heavy sweaters for something new. We rounded up 3 easy outfit ideas to get you through the next few weeks and hopefully to warmer weather.
1// My Boyfriend (Jeans) Are Back
Swap your skinnies for a more relaxed pair of jeans. I paired these boyfriend jeans with a basic tee and classic button up shirt, and with a few key accessories these outfits are complete. The addition of a belt makes the first look dressier than just jeans and a tee. The pop of the coral pump in the second look takes the whole outfit up a notch.
Wearing color Fervent and run true to size (tts)
2// It’s A Cardi Party
Cardigans are the perfect transitional layer. I love to wear mine over tees and tanks to extend the life of my spring and summer wardrobe. Whether you prefer solid or patterned a cardigan layers on the style.
This pink cardigan is a super soft material and comes in lots of great colors!
Leopard is the new neutral. In a classic color combo this cardigan is perfect for work or play.
This lightweight waterfall cardigan (under $40) has the most beautiful drape and is also prime eligible.
3// All the Tees, Please
Spring is the time to stock up on tees. I’ve tried and tested so many and these are among my favorites. Pump up your basics with stripes and peplum hems!
With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner we had to round up some greenspiration. A green ruffled dress paired with wedges is a fun way to feel festive. For a more casual affair a simple slub tank and the “best jean shorts” are the perfect pairing.
Plus a few more items we are green with envy for…
