Thank you ShopStyle & Macy’s for partnering on this post.
I’m always surprised/jealous of how many questions I get from you ladies about what to wear to a concert. The closest thing I’ve gotten to a concert recently is listening to my almost 3 year-old perform songs in our living room…a.k.a please take me with you!! So with all of these requests I’m beginning to look out for bands that are coming to the area because who doesn’t love to sing, dance, twirl around in a cute dress and let loose?
A concert or festival is a good way to break out of your normal, everyday style. Adding something edgy whether it’s a moto jacket or statement bootie can kick your outfit up a few notches. And is it just me or when you put on something that’s out of your comfort zone (in a GOOD way) you get this boost of confidence. Maybe that’s just an excuse to go shopping…
What to Wear to a Concert…
I decided to combine a few spring-forward trends all in one outfit from Macy’s. I tested out the snake print trend last month but wanted to go a little bolder this time around with these booties. I love that I’m still able to wear them now with jeans and a sweater, but absolutely love how they look with this red, printed dress. I grabbed an on trend top handle bucket bag to finish off this look. Which conveniently holds all the necessary objects for a concert: keys, wallet, phone. And if you are looking to get VIP status look no further than the Macy’s VIP Sale – from March 17th through the 24th you can get up to 30% off select items with code VIP.

Love this dress. So cute and fun. I have a skirt from “back in the day” that looks a lot like the bottom half of this dress. I’m so glad these ruffled styles are back in because I love that skirt.
