Family Photo Outfit Ideas

May 17, 2019

There are a few times during the year when we get an influx of requests for family photo outfit ideas! One time is usually in the winter, at the height of holiday season and the other is right before Memorial Day Weekend. School is almost out, vacations are being planned, beach bags are getting pulled out of the attic… and then you realize, wait school is out? My kids are ANOTHER year older?! I must capture this moment! And in the words of my 10 year old, “take a picture, it will last longer”. Sorry kid, I can’t help but stare because the year after next year you will be in MIDDLE SCHOOL and my heart just can’t take it.

It is no secret that we LOVE doing these posts. We’ve done them a lot. There is actually a whole section dedicated to family photo outfit ideas on the blog. Just click here. We brought you six colorful, on trend and down right fun themes for your family photo. Each theme is available at a specific retailer for easy shopping. One and done. Time to get those smiles ready!

I love this post as I always struggle/stress over what to put everyone in each year for family photos. One thing i’ve learned over the years is that you have to make sure all of the various outfit combinations work together. Eg. mom and daughters outfits all work as a unit, just the kids all work, etc.
