Talk about a match made in heaven… Monica and I would get along like two peas in a pod. While her husband isn’t a fan of the weekly deliveries at her doorstep 😉 My little heart always lights up when I see Monica commenting with her usual have it/love it! Her feedback is always a breathe of fresh air.

Q: Describe your style in 5 words or less…

A: I am a psychologist who works from home so my style is casual. Cute sundresses, dark jeans but no rips, black pants and sweaters, when I go out I love ripped jeans wedges and cute tops. Also love dresses. Oops five words or less Casual, chic, trendy and fun.

Q:What are your secrets for balancing work, family, and friends?

A: I have a calendar that is an old time big calendar. Everything goes on that and I look at it every day. That is how I balance family, friends and work. I also look through my contacts every once in a while on my phone to see who I have not been in touch with.

Q: Which decade has been your favorite?

A: I love the decade we are in the best. That is because the styles are really good for middle-aged women like me. When I think of how my mom dressed in gabardine pant suits with polyester tops that was not a good look.

A: I just read Inheritance by Dani Shapiro. Loved it.

Q: What is the best piece of parenting advice you’ve received?

A: The best parenting advice I can give is be patient and this too shall pass. Kids go through so many stages and it is very hard to watch but a lot of times the less you say the better off you are. They do tend to do the opposite so bite your tongue a bit more.
