Ah summer! Can we all agree that getting dressed this time of year is so much easier than any other time of year? Throw-on-a-dress-and-go type weather is my jam. Do people still say that? Well, in case they do, I’ve been jamming it up all summer so far. Summer for me is all about simplicity. I like to let one item do the talking. The more exciting the print or the silhouette the better. I’ve put together some of my favorite looks from the past month to show you exactly what I mean. And while my every day looks are usually denim shorts and a tank, it’s always fun to get dressed up for a night out!
Best Dressed
This dress is the epitome of what summer dressing means to me. It’s all about the scarf print and hanky hem silhouette. Perfect for an upcoming vacation or any summer event. This dress is one size, but has adjustable straps and is actually super flattering on all body types. Would even look cute with a growing baby bump! See this post for other ways to style it.

Two Ways to Wear It
Besides simplicity, versatility is my other summer best friend. This cami has been a go-to piece. I love pairing a feminine cami with distressed or boyfriend denim. But also this cami can be dressed up with a skirt and heels.

Pretty in Pink
Maybe its all the red, white and blue I’ve been rocking, but something has me feeling all the pink! I’ve found myself gravitated towards pink everything. From kimonos, tops, shorts and even dresses. Pink is undoubtedly my summer color. I’ve even swapped my usual ballet slippers toenail color for a pink-ier hue!

Not Your Average Tee
Going with the theme of statement makers these tees bring the punch. Perfectly paired with denim and an over the top earring for that easy summer vibe. I’ve worn every animal print possible this summer and I don’t see the trend going anywhere. I only see it popping up in more iterations!

Block Party or BBQ
And if you aren’t a dress gal, or a denim and tee gal, don’t worry I’ve got you covered. Jumpsuits and printed pants are a plenty this season. A jumpsuit is just like a statement dress you don’t need much accessorizing. The same goes with printed pants, pair with a simple tank and minimal accessories. Fun straw bags count as minimal #amiright??
