Welcome to The Motherchic edition of the September Issue. We have stormed the internet to find the best fall trends that will fit seamlessly into your wardrobe. We weeded out the un-necessary and inconvenient trends like “opera gloves for day”. Unless dish washing gloves count towards that trend I am S-O-L…although I’d really love to know who could actually rock this (#MeghanMarkle). We did, however, find 6 fresh trends to kick up your normal “sweaters and jeans” fall outfit that will have you the best-dressed gal at the pumpkin patch.
E.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. If you haven’t already jumped on this trend get ready to go all in. We are seeing animal print popping up in the most unexpected places! We suggest sticking to one animal print at a time to steer clear of looking like an extra in the Lion King.

The Pleated Skirt
This style has been around for awhile now, but every single retailer and is offering their own take on this fall staple. With so many options and prints it will be hard to just choose one. The pleated skirt is the perfect piece when you are in a pinch to get dressed up or where jeans just aren’t appropriate. Pair the skirt with wedges and a tee now and then a pullover sweater and booties for later.

Go for the Gingham
Fall is usually the mad for plaid season, but we are loving the hints of gingham. From bold to subtle this print is here to stay. The classic black and white print is the perfect refresh to your fall wardrobe.
Bold Jewels and Mixed Metals
The easiest way to update your look, which let’s be honest for most of us it is just jeans and a tee, is new accessories. This season we’ve seen two trends breaking through. Statement bracelets stacked high are in full force. Eye catching earrings are getting bigger and bolder. And on the flip side, simple mixed metal accessories will be your new go-to item. A mixed metal hoop or bracelet can be easily added to every day jewelry for an extra pop.
Booties, sneakers, and mules, oh my!
We just posted a full fall shoe round up, but then we thought, “We can never have too many shoes!” So, we are breaking it down again. The bootie is a MUST-HAVE. We especially love it in brown, pairs best with denim. Then there is the statement sneaker. There is no way I am not buying these rose gold beauties. Lastly, the unexpected but also surprisingly versatile animal print shoe. The easiest way to wear the trend.
