I am going to go out on a limb here… ok, maybe more like a huge branch and say that I am a tried and true Nordstrom shopper. I usually start my day by opening up nordstrom.com to see the latest and greatest. When it comes to Nordy Club Members, I take my role very seriously. I’m always trying new brands, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to the Topshop brand that really took my fashion choices to the next level.

Topshop took my typical jeans/sweater combo and literally kicked it up a notch. Talk about a brand that’s perfect for all those fashion feigns on your holiday shopping list! (Psst, if anyone shopping for me is reading this, I am said fashion feign. *wink wink*)

This chevron boucle sweater is slightly cropped for a more modern feel. But also pairs perfectly with high waisted jeans, which after four kids I have become a huge fan of everything high waisted. The jeans are the perfect grey wash and the “chewed” hem adds a little edgy detail. Speaking of edgy details can we talk about the chain link on the croc-embossed belt? Never would I ever thought I would put those words in a sentence. But suddenly a few edgy details and its like I’ve created an alter ego. I’ve just got to work on my stage name.

The icing on the cake, or maybe this whole new persona, comes in the form of a hooded faux shearling jacket. Which, by the way, comes in very handy when you are doing a photoshoot in 20 degree weather. Another thing that comes in handy is this adorable, little card case. Not only can you use it for “the essentials” (credit card, cash, etc.) but you could also use to slip in a little Nordstrom gift card.
