Holidays Winter/Fall

What to Wear on New Year’s Eve

December 18, 2019

Thank you Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.

Gold, glitter, sequins and sparkle. These are all part of the “Holiday Outfit Starter Kit” (and I’m not mad about at all) from the beginning of December through New Year’s. But this New Year’s Eve I have decided to take things in a different, dare I say sophisticated, direction. A fun, monochromatic outfit with a pop of color.

Let me be clear – I am not tired of all glitz and sparkle of the season. Heck, I’ll find any excuse to wear anything with sequins any time of the year. But I have to be honest. My legs get cold. My arms get cold. I get cold!! So between this dilemma and wanting to change things up a bit, I opted for these fun, coated jeans and a sultry off-the-shoulder top. The sleeves on the top are see-through, however the bodice is double-lined which means you don’t have to worry about showing anything!

One thing you can treat yourself to in the new year is to become part of the Nordy Club. Why, you ask? Let’s talk benefits. First of all, it is free to join. You can earn 1 point per every dollar you spend – plus Nordstrom has special bonus points weeks where you can earn even more points. Points = Notes = More Shopping! All members are also able to join in on special perks, like free basic alterations and curbside pick up. Both of these come in handy more often than you think.

Top | Jeans – size down (another option under $100!) | Necklace | Booties (wearing color Ribbon Red)
