5 Pairs of Pull-On Shorts I Can’t Stop Wearing

July 23, 2020

Here’s a post that I think my kids would approve of. Turns out, they aren’t the only ones who prefer bottoms with elastic waist bands and soft fabric. When it’s 90+ degrees out I can’t say I don’t agree with them. Maybe it’s due to the stay-at-home orders, but pull-on shorts are everywhere this summer! Consider them the summer cousin to your favorite pair of joggers or sweatpants. Hack off some length and ready to brave the heat. I’ve rounded up five pairs of pull-on shorts that I can’t stop wearing.

The Denim Boyfriend Pull-On Shorts

This pair is slightly longer and more relaxed than any of the other pairs of shorts in this post. The fabric is a lightweight denim and the frayed hem is slightly longer in the back than in the front for added interest. I love the rope tie for ultimate summer vibes. Wearing XS, size up if between!

The Seaside Pull-on Short

J.Crew did exactly what I mentioned in the first paragraph of this post. They quite literally hacked some length off of their top selling seaside pants to make these pull-on shorts. They are a linen blend for a quintessential summer feel and run TTS, but size down if wavering.

The Striped Chambray Pull-on Short

These playful shorts can be paired with anything from your favorite graphic tee to a gauzy button down to a simple tank. If you love your denim shorts for all of the pockets, this is the pair for you! They have side and back pockets and the cutest retro curved side hem. Size up if between.

The Skirted Pull-On Shorts

If you are a gal who likes skirts, but has trouble wearing them because of KIDS, this pair is for you! They are flowy and flirty and almost have the appearance of shorts. They sit at your natural waist and are extremely lightweight. These run TTS.

The Sporty Pull-on Short

These pleated, textured pull-on shorts by Athleta are ready for anything. You could hike in them (and look really cute) or dress them up to go out. They have a flat panel waist band that lends itself to either tucking or wearing your top loose. These run TTS.
