How to Wear Leggings For the Holidays

December 9, 2020

This is a year where anything goes — including clothing. As we all know and have experienced, 2020 has really thrown a wrench in our plans. The holidays may look a little different and potentially interesting this year as well. This also means I am going one of two ways when it comes to getting dressed for this year’s festivities — super, over-the-top glam or comfy and cozy in loungewear and some leggings.

But there can be a happy medium, right? Thankfully leggings are a 2020 wardrobe staple, and even more thankful that faux leather leggings are basically considered dressing up at this point. So I’m here to save the “what should I wear during this weird holiday time” dilemma by combining the best of all the worlds. Ladies, may I present to you four different festive-yet-comfy leggings outfits to wear for the holidays.

Holiday Outfits With Faux Leather Leggings

Sweater Tunic | Spanx Faux Leather Leggings | Over the Knee Boots

Festive and Bright

What’s more festive than plaid and sparkles this time of year?! Keep it fun with a ruffle-neck collar and statement earrings. Cinch your waist by wrapping a statement belt on top of your layered look. You’ll be like a stylish little present all wrapped up 😉

Pops of Red

Neutrals with pops of bright red, yes please! Mixing textures and subtle touches on elevated classics make this a very easy yet very statement-worthy outfit for the holiday season.

Tunic Sweater | YSL Lip Stain | Earrings | Leggings | Booties | Le Mini Macaron Nail Kit

Cheers to Casual

Ahh, this one screams “ME” the most. A comfy sweatshirt with a little sparkle, cozy sneakers and some fun jewelry. I might have to rotate a few different sweatshirts and sweaters to keep this outfit party going!
