Thank you to Gap and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post
I’ve been finding myself doing a lot of spring cleaning lately. It’s partly due to the weather and the feeling of re-emergence on the horizon. But once that spring cleaning is done, there will be room for the NEW. And the biggest question I’ve been asking myself is what is the new new? Is it bold colors and volume or minimalist and modern? But what I keep coming back to is the basics. Building a solid foundation is the first step to a great wardrobe. For me the best place to start to build this is Gap. I know I can always rely on Gap to have the best basics, versatile items, and comfortable fabrics. I also know I can get a head to toe look for my entire family, so for me it’s a one stop shop.
Just when you thought this couldn’t get any better enter the Friends & Family Event (3/18 – 3/23). This amazing event offers 40% off EVERYTHING, plus an extra 10% off with codes FRIEND + FAMILY. And while I focused on filling in my spring wardrobe with some basics tees, trendy jeans, and classic jacket I did round up some of my favorites for the whole family.
Spring Refresh Outfit
Classic and timeless dressing is, well, always in style. But with Gap I was able to pick some items that offered a modern twist. The Girlfriend Jean has always been a favorite fit, but I love this look in a classic white. The always stylish utility jacket gets a major upgrade in this super soft quilted fabric. Plus some extra bonus points for the extra flattering tie at the waist. It was easy to finish off this look with a perfect white tee (aka not see through!) and a pair of comfy slides.
