Thank you to Saks OFF 5TH and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.
There are two things I do every morning: First, I splash my face with cold water. Second, I check the weather. Maybe it seems trivial to dress for the weather, but if its one thing I can do to be prepared I am going to check that box. Seasonal clothing is something that us northeastern’s are privy to have in our wardrobe. It is always good to have a few classics pieces to grab when the temperatures change. When April showers bring May flowers, I will have all the necessary outfits.
Of course I can find all the perfectly chic outfits at Saks OFF 5TH for all the weather woes in my future. They have a plethora of transitional jackets, cute rain boots and simple wardrobe staples for easy on the go looks. When the sun starts to come out again, Saks OFF 5TH has the best variety of spring dresses for any occasion. I styled two go-to looks for spring that include the designer names you will recognize with the Saks OFF 5TH prices you will love. For a limited time (3/26-3/28) if you spend $150 dollars or more you can get 25% off your purchase with code SPLURGE.
Look 1: Weather Ready
The LBD, the cashmere sweater, the classic trench – three staples that will never go out of style. I found this Karl Lagerfeld trench with the most amazing feminine details – pearl buttons, waist cinching tie and in gorgeous water-resistant fabric. Keeping this outfit timeless I paired with black long sleeve tee (similar tee here) light wash denim and pair of high top sneakers (lots more sneakers here). But in case of rain I grabbed these perfect Sam Edelman Chelsea rain boots.

Look 2: Stepping into Spring
It’s clear that we are all ready for dress season – and this Free People maxi does not disappoint. The on trend square neckline and smocked bodice allow for an easy fit. Add a few accessories: studded sandals, woven bag and panama hat to complete the look. Now just try not to twirl.
