This is usually the time of year when denim shorts starts to be trending, but since we are all getting used changing out of our leggings and joggers I thought a denim round up was in order. And, surprisingly, or maybe not surprising at all – but there are no skinny jeans in this post. And obviously no side parts 😉 Jokes aside, there has been a lot of chatter about the looser fitting denim so I thought I’d try some out. As we get closer to summer, wearing looser fitting denim is also great for ventilation. I’ve included sizing info and linked the entire outfit below each photo. For reference I am 5’4″ and usually wear a regular 25 or 2 in jeans.
Abercrombie Ultra High Rise Cropped Wide Leg Jeans
A light wash wide leg silhouette – the feel like a fresh change from my go-to skinnies and look even better with a small heel for instant chic factor.
Abercrombie Curve Love Ultra High Rise Ankle Straight Jeans
My newest obsession is these white jeans (although they do come in other washes). If you are shorter than 5’4 I would go with the shorter length. They also come in tall!
Ripped High Rise Mom Jeans
I am on the fence if this style works for my body, but since mom jeans are trending I wanted to test them out. I’ll let you all be the judge!
Ripped Boyfriend Jeans
Love love love these! They are a very slim boyfriend, so if you are dabbling wearing looser fitting denim, this is a great place to start!
Distressed Straight Relaxed Roll Up Jeans
This style is more of a true boyfriend jean. Due to the rips, they do get looser as the day goes, but that is also the style. Comfort score is 100%!
The Drop Women’s Mid-Rise Loose Fit Boyfriend Jean
These are a slightly more polished boyfriend jean… ok clearly I have a thing for rips. These were a little long on me so I just cuffed them twice to solve that problem!
