New Arrivals at Nordstrom

New year, new look, new arrivals! As a style blogger, one of my daily tasks is checking “new arrivals” at all of my favorite stores. The new arrivals at Nordstrom have been so on point recently that I found myself curating a list that was not so curated at all. What makes me the most excited about all of the newness at Nordstrom is that there is a great balance of new styles from my tried and true Nordstrom Made labels (Treasure & Bond, Chelsea28, Open Edit etc…) and new lines all together (Vici Collection and ASOS to name a few). We’ve written several articles on 2022 trends including the color of the year and this post a collision of just that. I’ve created a look with the color we are gravitating towards, plus some wearable trends that aren’t “trendy”. If you are more of a visual person, let me demonstrate what I am trying to say….

The Motherchic new arrivals at Nordstrom

Non-skinny jeans + pop of “very-peri” + on-trend layer in the form of a cozy shacket…..it’s an easy outfit formula that makes you look like what is going on in the fashion world without trying too hard. When you take away that shacket, you can’t help but have a little puff sleeve which is a silhouette that is still having its moment.

Let’s talk more about these jeans – while they are considered high rise, they have a slouchier fit. I love the straight leg and light wash for a fresh feel. These were a touch long on me so a little ankle roll was perfect to pair with a higher shaft bootie. If you want a more fitted look I recommend sizing down in these jeans.
