There is something about a monochromatic outfit that is so…. easy! Aside from requiring minimal thought, it gives off a sophisticated and minimalistic vibe. While monochromatic sets (suiting especially) are a big trend this spring, I wanted to share an everyday way to try this yourself in the form of jeans and a t-shirt. Swap out your trusty blue jeans for a chic pair of white denim, pair it with a white tee and you have the makings of a double-take worthy look. There is a fine line between “meh” and “mwah” when it comes to an all white look with accessories being the major differentiator. A pair of ” poppy”shoes and some simple jewelry can truly make all the difference.
I took the same outfit formula: these white jeans, and this white tee, and styled them two ways below my recent trip to Florida. I wanted to give a quick shoutout for being a Zappos VIP – that free expedited shipping is such an added bonus and everything arrived in plenty of time! It’s almost like magic how fast it comes.

Talk about a statement shoe. These gorgeous Ted Baker sandals (size up if between) need to be seen. The best way to let them shine is by wearing them with a monochromatic outfit so they eye is drawn right to the party. They instantly elevate this casual look into a more intentionally styled ensemble.

The second look is a bit more understated by swapping out the floral sandals for these pastel, studded Steve Madden gems. While they are a bit more muted, they still grab the eye and and add a bit of texture to the simple white canvas.
