It’s safe to say when I am putting in my weekly Amazon order I always slip in a new fashion item to try. From sweaters to tees to maxi dresses there is always something sneaking its way into my order. I love the ease of ordering from Amazon. The styles and trends are always on point. But sometimes the photos can sometimes be deceiving. The colors, the fabric or even just the photoshopping can leave you questioning your purchase. You just don’t know until the package arrives on your doorstep. So whether you want to call it an Amazon experiment or me taking one for the team, I rounded up a few items that took me by surprise. These items were almost identical to the photos and this girl was pleasantly surprised and excited to share with my friends!
Henley Oversized Sweater
I am pretty sure it’s an east coast thing, but I love a good spring sweater! For those cool nights or those odd few weeks of actual spring! This one is soft, a little oversized and a little longer in the back.

Tiered Knit Maxi
This dress was spot on! The material is a soft stretchy knit and the straps are adjustable. I am 5’4″ and wearing the small. Time to go back and get another color.
This tee fits very similar to the photo – overall loose and comfy. I love that its not a crop length and the easy fit. The color is a tad lighter, but I like it for summer. There is also a cotton blend option here.
Printed Henley Maxi Dress
Feminine and flowy this dress definitely fit the bill. I love how the model belted it to give it more shape. This 4-pack of belts are a reader favorite.
Cut out Bandeau Maxi
This is one of those dresses that looks like it’s over $200 and then you realize it’s under $50! 10/10 in my book!

Tiered Maxi Dress
This dress was pretty spot on! Definitely needed a major steam when I took it out of the package. Could even throw it in the dryer to give it some more life.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this dress. The design and fit were exactly what I expected. I would suggest a sticky bra with this dress.
Colorful Crochet Dress
I had had had to try this fun crochet dress due to the current trend of crochet craziness. I loved the fun colors, but this was more of a sweater material compared to a cotton crochet. Definitely needs a slip underneath. Overall I love the fun colors and would consider wearing with boots in the fall.

Tiered Henley Mini Dress
This dress is definitely PINK! The buttons are workable and the fabric is substantial. Overall this dress is on the shorter side. The fit is bordering on babydoll – so those with a bigger bust may need to size up.
Square Neck Mini Dress
I was worried this dress was going to be super short and maybe even stiff, but it was not! This hit mid thigh on me and the sleeves were more drape-y. The neckline calls for a strapless bra, but overall I love it!
Clip Dot Mini Dress
This clip dot material specifically has been a reader favorite! The babydoll fit is cute and the fabric is super textural. The dress is lined so it is not see through. Overall, it is a fun easy dress for spring!
