I’m not going to come out and say it, but you know what happens when summer ends and so does your wardrobe. Ok, fine! It’s sweater weather! Casual Sweater and Denim Look //

One of my go to outfit formulas is the monochromatic look. A streamlined color palette of rich hues and interesting textures make for the perfect fall uniform. This stunning merino sweater by Naadam pairs easily with denim, but would also be great for the office with a classic trouser.

I love a black wash denim for fall and this pair from Hudson offered all the bells and whistles. These are a mid-rise fit with distressing and a flared raw hem. The length of the jeans is slightly cropped, so they would go great with a knit bootie or I paired them with a statement sneaker.

I’ve written before about sweater dresses and how finding a flattering fit can be hard. It’s all about the drape and the belt-ability – this one checks both boxes. This cable knit dress from one of my favorite brands, Splendid, is super soft and easy to wear. Style Tip // Tie the knot in the back to create less bulk and cinch the waist for a figure flattering fit. Pair the dress with an on trend knit bootie for a one and done look.
