Thank you to Gap and ShopStyle Collective for sponsoring this post.
I want to start this post off by saying that I am denim obsessed. This obsession started back in high school and, well, it’s only gotten worse. I’ve tried pretty much every designer label you can think of, but then I put on these Gap flares and all the little check boxes I go through in my head when deciding if they are worthy of sharing started dinging off the radar. They hug in the right spots, they elongate the leg, and they are the perfect length, on trend wash.. and I’m just going to go out and say it, they make your booty look good. Once I put them on I refused to take them off and wore them all weekend long. It may have been a minute since you wore flares so consider this a little refresher course on how to wear them.

Look 1 // Effortlessly Casual
A plush cashmere-like sweater is the perfect pullover for that effortlessly casual vibe. The lightwash denim with subtle flare gives a nod to the 70s trend, but with a modern touch.
Look 2 // Denim on Denim
Denim on denim is a great monochromatic look. A slim belt highlights the waist and can help to break up the look. Style Tip // If your outfit matches, your accessories don’t have to! Contrasting colors and textures are fun to play around with.
Look 3 // Sideline Chic
A classic hoodie sweatshirt (that all my kids tried to steal) goes perfectly for a weekend on the bleachers. I love that the length of the jeans was long enough to wear with a heel, but also short enough for a sneaker.
Look 4 // Leather Weather
I had to test out the faux leather baby boot jean for fall. These pants are the perfect option for date night. The material was super soft and not squeaky, the boot cut fit was subtle and not overwhelming. Just check out the reviews on these pants!
