Maybe it’s cheating, but I am going to call it market research. I asked my parents what they wanted to see in this gift guide. They are grandparents, so it seemed like it was a no brainer. While my Mom continued to rattle off ideas (with an emphasis on this necklace we bought her for her birthday that she is in love with), my Dad likes to send a curated list that usually includes socks and books. But in the end they always say that “we don’t need to buy them anything” because spending time together is the most important.
