Thank you to Nordstrom and Collective Voice for sponsoring this post.
Here’s some news that might surprise you: it’s STILL sweater weather. In fact, sweater weather is pretty much a 365 thing for me. Not a day goes by that I don’t drape my body in some form of knit for the cozy factor alone. Spring sweaters are most definitely NOT a contradiction. Yes, when the weather starts to warm up, I pack away the wool and gravitate towards lighter fabrics, shorter sleeves and looser weaves. With a few style swaps, sweaters remain relevant year round and right now Nordstrom has SO many good ones. I styled two easy looks with spring sweaters and rounded up more of my favorites at the bottom of this post.
Look 1: Dress Up Your Denim
A short sleeve sweater makes your favorite spring denim look a bit more polished. Whether you are going to a school event or keeping it casual at work, a short sleeve sweater looks tailored and classic. I love this square neck sweater with sweet ruffle sleeves by Treasure & Bond. It hits right at the top of the hips which makes it a perfect match for higher rise denim or trousers for an even dressier look.

Look 2: Texture + Prints
Ahh, my favorite combination. Wide leg, flowy pants are also a huge trend this year. Yes, I could pair these printed pants with a white tank and it would be a really cute outfit. But I find adding this knit tank gives the look more dimension, interest, and dresses it up a bit. With the right accessories this look can go from day to night. Style on point!
