What’s better than celebrating love and dancing the night away? Clearly I am a sucker for a good summer wedding. The only sad part is that I have ZERO weddings on my calendar this summer. I feel like it goes in waves so while I am in a wedding drought, I got my fix by styling some wedding-ready looks for all of you. I tried to consider different venues and came up with a vibe for each look. The one consistent theme with each outfit is comfortable shoes…. because you can’t go to a wedding and NOT dance. I simply won’t allow it. Now, onto the outfits…. I love how Nordstrom makes it easy with their curated wedding guest page. Buying online and picking up in store is my signature move when I need an outfit in a pinch. The looks below are all under $160 (most under $100) and can also be worn beyond the wedding to parties, events, or even vacation.
Look 1 // Summer Wedding in the Vineyard
This dress has a touch of the unexpected with this cross neck eyelet detail. It’s what I consider to be wearable art and has the perfect balance of playfulness and sophistication. While black isn’t typically a summer wedding color, I lightened the look with bold earrings and a white clutch.

Look 2 // Summer Garden Wedding
You can never go wrong with a floral maxi. This pretty number comes in a few colors and has adjustable straps. The low back makes this dress evening worthy – just need to make sure you have the right (or no) bra to pair with. Highly recommend this bra or adhesive petals.

Look 3 // Summer Country Club Wedding
It’s hard not to feel fabulous in a red, wrap dress. The color is fresh, the silhouette is sophisticated and always classic. I grounded the red with some neutral accessories for a no-fail country club chic look.

Look 4 // Summer City Wedding
This dress is a show stopper. From the crochet fabric to the beaded detail…. it’s hard to choose a favorite part of this unique dress. I played up the texture by adding a fun feather clutch, and a pop of color with the earrings. Now that I look at these photos, a simple sleek low pony tail would be the perfect hairstyle for this look. Did I mention, this dress is WAY under $100!?!
