A little humor, a little hygiene, and a little hope they’ll actually use it.
Teen boy advent calendars don’t exist. I looked. And honestly, that feels like a missed opportunity — because if there’s one group that could benefit from 25 small surprises in December (and maybe a gentle nudge toward basic grooming), it’s our teenage sons.
So this year, I made my own. No rules, no fancy packaging. I just used an advent calendars with pockets, and for the things that didn’t fit, I wrapped them and tucked them underneath. The goal? A mix of funny, functional, and festive — all things they’ll actually use… or at least laugh at.

A Sneak Peek at What’s Inside My Teen Boy Advent Calendar

Protein Hot Chocolate
Because gains don’t take a holiday.
This Works Sleep Spray
For the two nights this month they actually go to bed before midnight.
Dr. Squatch Body + Ball Wipes
Yes, that’s the real name. Equal parts hilarious and useful — truly the sweet spot of teenage gift-giving.
Happy Nuts Spray
Keeping with the theme… this one’s for the humor. And maybe the hygiene.
Mini Shower Speaker
For those 40-minute showers that apparently count as cardio.
Sports Recovery Muscle Balm
For when they claim they’re “injured” after gym class.
Nail Clipper Kit
Because nails don’t clip themselves (newsflash).
Axe Pocket Spray
For when they remember deodorant after they’ve already left the house.
Nike Headband
Sporty, practical, and perfect for hiding unwashed hair.
MrBeast Beef Jerky
Protein meets YouTube fame — the ultimate teen-boy crossover.

The Best Part….
You can totally customize this. Swap in candy, snacks, tech accessories, gift cards — whatever fits your teen’s vibe (and the pockets). The fun part is that each day feels a little personal and a lot more entertaining than another chocolate Santa.
And because I know someone will ask — yes, I tried the jerky.
Not bad.

Thank you for this! There is an abundance of advent calendars I can get for my teenage daughter but when looking for my son I came up empty. These ideas are great and I will be DIY’ing it!
