Anthropologie new arrivals have entered the chat….and apparently I am ready for fall now. There’s just something about Anthro that makes getting dressed more fun, and this latest round is very much proving my point.
I found dresses that feel made for those first fall plans, denim you can start wearing right now, and tops that make the whole summer-to-fall transition a little more exciting. Think great prints, unexpected details, rich fall colors and pieces that have enough personality to make an outfit without requiring much else.
Basically, these are the pieces you can wear now, layer later and actually get excited to pull out of your closet. Here’s everything I’m loving from Anthropologie right now….
All About The Pants //
I love that this feels like a last days of summer, but I’m thinking about fall outfit. The green floral pants are obviously the star, but pairing them with the textured white top keeps everything fresh and lets the print do its thing. Wear it now with sandals, then swap in a cardigan and flats as the weather changes. And yes, apparently I’m still very much on board with a statement pant.

Plaid Perfection //
This plaid dress is one of those pieces that works now and gets even better later. Wear it as-is while it’s still warm and the plaid feels surprisingly fresh for August. Then come fall….this is where it gets fun. Add boots, layer a fitted turtleneck underneath or throw a chunky cardigan over it. A little unexpected, very Anthro, and definitely not your standard plaid dress.

All About Olive //
This two-fer is basically fall dressing on easy mode. The cable-knit top and pleated skirt give you that perfectly layered look without having to actually figure out the layers. And this olive green….I am seeing it everywhere for fall. It feels a little softer than black, works like a neutral and looks so good with all the browns and taupes coming this season. Add tall boots and you’re done.

Oh But This Brown //
This is my kind of two-fer….because it really is two for one. Wear it together and it looks perfectly pulled together, then take the sweater top and pair it with jeans, trousers or even a satin skirt. And can we talk about this chocolatey plum shade? So yummy for fall and such a good alternative to basic black

Print Mixing Mastered //
This top is doing the print mixing for you….which makes it surprisingly easy to wear. I love it with relaxed denim heading into fall, but I can totally see it with white jeans right now. One of those pieces that makes the whole outfit without requiring much else.

Mad About Plaid //
This plaid top is such a good wear now, layer later piece. Pair it with denim and sandals while it’s still warm, then throw on your favorite cardigan or blazer when the temperatures finally cooperate. Easy, cute and working overtime in your closet.
